1 Corinthians 1:30
30: God alone made it possible for you to be in Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made Christ to be wisdom itself. He is the one who made us acceptable to God. He made us pure and holy, and he gave himself to purchase our freedom.
Ephesians 1:7
- He is so rich in kindness that he purchased our freedom through the blood of his Son, and our sins are forgiven.
Philippians 3:9
- and become one with him. I no longer count on my own goodness or my ability to obey God's law, but I trust Christ to save me. For God's way of making us right with himself depends on faith.

- What this means is that those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!
- All this newness of life is from God, who brought us back to himself through what Christ did. And God has given us the task of reconciling people to him.
- For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. This is the wonderful message he has given us to tell others.
- We are Christ's ambassadors, and God is using us to speak to you. We urge you, as though Christ himself were here pleading with you, "Be reconciled to God!"
- For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.
Galatians 1:4
- He died for our sins, just as God our Father planned, in order to rescue us from this evil world in which we live.
